DETECting Europe in TV Crime Series – Geopolitics, locations, audiences
11 Dec 2018
University of Aalborg, Denmark
In December Caitriona will be taking part in the DETECt research workshop “DETECting Europe in TV Crime Series – Geopolitics, locations, audiences”. The workshop is organised and hosted by the team at Aalborg University on December 11.
The aim of the workshop is to explore further collaborations between the Screen Agencies as Cultural Intermediaries project and the DETECt project (Detecting Transcultural Identity in European Popular Crime Narratives). Caitriona and Ruth have worked closely with many of the researchers in DETECt through the FKK-funded What Makes Danish TV Drama Series Travel? research project, and a number of fruitful collaborations emerged between individuals and their international research projects. This workshop is an opportunity to further deepen and extend those research collaborations.
